Huntingdonshire District Council Car Park User Engagement
Huntingdonshire District Council has prepared a draft Car Park Strategy which sets out a long-term vision for how council owned car parks should be managed and improved over the coming years.
The draft strategy has been informed by parking surveys, forecasting, stakeholder engagement and the feedback received during the first public user survey. It includes a draft Vision, four strategic themes and a series of objectives covering topics such as supporting town centres, sustainable travel, customer experience and planning for future parking needs.
The Council would now like to hear your views on the draft strategy before it is finalised.
Whether you are a resident, business, visitor or other stakeholder, your feedback will help ensure the final strategy reflects local priorities and provides an appropriate framework for managing council owned car parks across Huntingdonshire.

- The draft Vision for Huntingdonshire's car parks;
- The four strategic themes and their objectives;
- The relative importance of each strategic theme;
- Parking charges and permits; and
- Any additional comments or suggestions to help improve the draft strategy.
Please remember to submit your survey once you have finished, otherwise your responses cannot be included in the overall analysis.
The survey will run from 16 July until 16 August. Responses received after the closing date may not be included in the analysis.

Phases
Stage 2 Public User Survey
The draft Huntingdonshire Car Park Strategy has now been developed using the evidence gathered through parking surveys, forecasting, stakeholder engagement, and the feedback received during the first public user survey.
This second public user survey provides an opportunity for residents, businesses, visitors and other stakeholders to review the draft Vision, Themes and Objectives that will guide how council owned car parks are managed over the coming years.
Your feedback will help us understand whether the draft strategy reflects local priorities, identify any areas that may require refinement, and ensure the final strategy supports thriving town centres, sustainable travel, an improved parking service, and the district's future growth.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views. Every response received will be carefully considered before the final Huntingdonshire Car Park Strategy is prepared for adoption.
